Know these cold
- CIA Triad: Confidentiality (only authorized parties see data), Integrity (data not altered), Availability (systems accessible when needed).
- Common attack types: phishing (fake email), ransomware (encrypt+ransom), SQL injection (web form exploit), MitM (intercept communication), zero-day (no patch).
- Principle of least privilege: users get minimum required permissions. Separation of duties: no single person controls a full process.
